Aims and Objectives

Aims and Objectives of are:

  • To entrench a focal point of reference in matters relating to the welfare and social wellbeing of all Nnewi indigenes and their families residing in Great Britain and Ireland.
  • To promote brotherliness and unite all Nnewi indigenes and their families resident in Great Britain and Ireland.
  • To promote awareness and understanding of Nnewi customs, culture and Igbo language.
  • To celebrate success, provide support and comfort to members of the Association in success or grief.
  • To promote equality for all members and their families.
  • To provide support for charitable activities.
  • To promote activities that shall enable our children and youths to know their roots and be proud of their origin.
  • To own a multi-purpose hall to serve as “Nnewi Community Centre”
To engage in any other lawful activities that will help in realising the stated Aims and Objectives.

Nnewi Community Association of Great Britain and Ireland (NCA) is a philanthropic, socio-cultural, not for profit organisation inaugurated in 1991; and incorporated as a company limited by guarantee with the companies’ house of England and Wales.
