About Nnewi Community Association

Nnewi Community Association of Great Britain and Ireland (NCA) is a philanthropic, socio-cultural, not for profit organisation inaugurated in 1991; and incorporated as a company limited by guarantee with the companies’ house of England and Wales. It was formed for the benefit of the indigenes of Nnewi town together with members of their families’ resident in Great Britain and Ireland. “The community” comprising of four autonomous quarters; Otolo, Uruagu, Umudim and Nnewi-Ichi commonly referred as Nnewi Central of Nnewi Metropolitan city of Anambra State in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The organisation is primarily interested in matters relating to the welfare and social well-being of Nnewi indigenes and their families to ensure the promotion of awareness, brotherliness, unity and understanding amongst them. NCA is open for subscription to both men and women of Nnewi origin of minimum age of 18 years and the members of their families; it is non-political and supports charitable activities.
